Proposed Development
Progress Planning and Design have been working alongside the landowner to bring forward a high-quality scheme that not only compliments the surrounding high street but seeks to set the bar for high-quality design.
The proposal seeks to provide a good mix of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units (both as housing and flats) with a core focus on securing at least 20% of mix as being 3 bedroom family units
The proposal is for a comprehensive redevelopment of the site to provide a 3-storey block along Lime Grove and a 5-storey residential building fronting Coombe Road. The rear of the site will be transformed to facilitate a set of dwellinghouses. The proposal will provide 25 residential units with ground floor commercial use (Class use E).
The scheme is being designed to take into account the opportunities and constraints evident through our review of the site and is being informed by consultant’s appraisals and reports. We will be taking into consideration comments from the local community via this public consultation website as we enter further discussions with the Local Planning Authority on the design of the proposal.
